Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Sanctuary – Review, Photos & Swatches

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Sanctuary ($20; .22oz) is described as a cool Sepia cool. To me, it's more of a brown/mauve color with these purple, gray undertones to it. This is one of those liquid lipsticks that are going to show up differently on people depending on their skin tones, undertones, pigmentation in their lips etc. I definitely recommend looking around for more swatches or heading to the store to swatch it on yourself before purchasing.

The formula is very comfortable on the lips - nondrying and it doesn't smudge. Check out the video for additional views of me applying it.

Creamy smooth with a dazzling metallic finish, NYX Cosmetics' Cosmic Metals Lip Cream covers your lips in lustrous color that feels and looks like a gloss.

I've been dying for a true rose gold liquid lipstick that I could wear without the color being washed away on me. This is it.

Final thoughts: It's a non-sticky, metallic creme liquid lipstick. It's very comfortable on the lips and doesn't feel grainy. Be aware that it does not dry down and it is not transfer proof.

It is true to the name that it is an everlasting matte lipstick once applied and dried down - the only issue that I have with it is that it did apply a bit uneven and patchy in some areas that my hyperpigmentation on my lips showed through. It evened out once I applied a second coat, however, that made it a bit thicker on my lips so keep that in mind.

Sugarpill Cosmetics Trinket Liquid Lipstick Review, Swatches, Video & Photos On A Woman of Color

Sugarpill Cosmetics re-released their first liquid lipstick in the shade Trinket.

It is described as a creamy matte mauve that is infused with luminous golden sparkles. It is listed as vegan and I believe it is cruelty-free (see the ingredients below). The color is now permanent and for the second launch, I had to get my hands on it to review!

Availability: Only on Sugarpill.com for $18. There is a $6 flat rate shipping cost but if you spend over $100 you do get free shipping. They do ship worldwide (with the exception of a few countries). It is made in the USA and you are going to get Net Wt. 6 grams / .21 oz of product with a shelf life of 12 months.

Thoughts: I love it! This is an independent brand that was started by Amy aka Shrinkle. The lipstick itself is very comfortable; does not apply streaky; has a citrus scent to it; and a beautiful gold reflux to it that you can activate once it dries down by tapping your finger over it.
